The project proposed to paint the bridges to prevent rusting and ensure that the bridges remain safe for travel. Duties included detail inspection, on-site testing of material and other construction activities as necessary, including field measurement and collection of data necessary to submit monthly and final estimates and progress reports; ensured coating quality assurance; inspected blast operations and painting; ensured contractor’s compliance with all OSHA and EPA regulations and hazardous waste management; conducted air monitoring and environmental inspection.
